At Sports Complex Station in Seoul, we ran a station wrap ad for V (뷔) of BTS for the Chinese fan club China V Bar. It covered the walls of a stairway entrance with a deep navy print and the words "We Purple You". This BTS V fan ad is signed "LOVE FROM CHINA V BAR", and it wraps around you as you walk down into the station. Below, we describe the ad and how fans in other countries can plan a similar project with us.

Where was the ad displayed?

We installed the ad at Sports Complex Station, which serves Line 2 and Line 9. The station name sign over the passage reads "종합운동장 Sports Complex" and shows the number 6.

This is an open-air entrance: you can see sky, trees and a street-level railing above the walls. The print covers three surfaces around the stairs: the long sloping wall beside the steps, the wall you face on the landing, and the band above the station name sign over the passage.

The ad ran for one month.

What did the ad look like?

All three surfaces share one look: a dark navy background, very large "BTS V" lettering in red, and thin white or red type laid over it.

Sloping wall. The red letters "BTS V" run along the wall, with "WE PURPLE YOU" in white capitals to their left and a large side-on portrait at the lower end, where the wall is tallest. A small line above the letters reads "LOVE FROM CHINA V BAR".

Landing wall. A second portrait, with a white fur collar and a blue scarf, fills the left half. To the right are "BTS V" in red, the same "WE PURPLE YOU", and the fan club's line.

Above the name sign. Here "BTS V" is spread wide across the band, with "We Purple You" written over it in a thin white serif face and a smaller portrait in the middle.

Each surface also carries a short handwritten-style note in red: "태형아 콘서트 무대에서 만나", which means "Taehyung, see you at the concert stage", followed by the English line "In this moment I see you".

Who organized it?

The Chinese fan club China V Bar organized this ad, and we handled the booking and installation in Seoul. Every surface is signed "LOVE FROM CHINA V BAR".

For fans reading from abroad, the useful part is this: the fans who signed the wall are in China, and their message still met everyone coming down these stairs in Seoul.

What is a station wrap ad?

A station wrap ad is a single large print applied directly to the walls of a station entrance or passage, instead of a poster placed in a frame. At a stairway entrance like this one, the print follows the slope of the steps and turns the corner with the wall.

That shape changes how you design. In this ad, the tall end of the sloping wall holds the portrait, the narrow end holds text, and the band over the passage is treated like a headline. People do not look at it from one spot; they pass through it, so repeating the name and the short message on every surface, as these fans did, means nobody misses it.

How can fans overseas place a similar ad in Korea?

A project like this can be planned entirely from another country. The usual order is:

  1. Choose the occasion and the date you want to mark.
  2. Decide where the ad should appear: a station entrance, a lightbox inside a station, a city bus or another spot.
  3. Prepare your message and photos, and make sure you have the right to use them.
  4. Send us your idea, and we will reply with the options that are open for your dates.

Wrap spaces are few, and each one needs artwork drawn to the exact shape of its walls. If your date is tied to an event, it is worth contacting us early.

How It Works explains each step in more detail. When you are ready, request a quote and tell us what you have in mind. Costs vary with the ad type and dates, so please contact us for a quote.

We share ads we have run as examples of what fans have done. If you would like this page changed or removed, please use our removal request form.
