K-pop Birthdays in January 2027: Idols & K-drama Actors

K-pop birthdays in January 2027 start on New Year's Day with Winter of aespa. Jisoo of BLACKPINK follows on 3 January and Jennie on 16 January, a date she shares with Seungkwan of SEVENTEEN. D.O. and Kai of EXO have birthdays two days apart, on 12 and 14 January, Yunah of ILLIT is on 15 January, and Junho of 2PM closes the list on 25 January.

In Seoul, fans mark days like these with ads in subway stations, on city buses and on digital screens. This page lists the dates we have confirmed so far, in order, so you can see what is coming and plan around it. The calendar covers idols and K-drama actors, and we add a name only after we have checked the date. More names will join this list as we confirm them.

When to start planning a birthday ad

January dates need planning in December. For an ad that starts on 1 January, contact us by 1 December. For an ad that starts on Jennie's birthday, 16 January, contact us by 16 December. For 25 January, contact us by 25 December.

Many fans like the ad to be up before the day itself, so that people see it in the days leading up to the birthday. If that is your plan, count back from the day you want the ad to start, not from the birthday.

A fan ad goes through three steps: the design, the review of the design, and the installation. Each step takes time, and a birthday will not move. The steps are explained on How It Works.

Where fan ads run in Seoul

Here are three kinds of ad we have run for fans in Seoul. A subway lightbox is a lit panel on a station wall, seen by people walking through the same passage every day. A bus ad is printed on adhesive sheets on the outside of a city bus and travels along its route. A digital screen shows your artwork or a short video in rotation with other ads.
